Do I get points for just not buying a surfboard?
DMMike - 4/21/2010 11:37:59 AM

Good question. We don't expect anyone to be able to achieve all the points, so you will only get these points if you buy a surfboard with these properties. Some of the actions you can earn for not doing, like littering your cigarettes on the beach, if you don't smoke...it can be a little unclear sometimes...

Use time and motion sensors to control lights - Image courtesy of http://www.frugal-save-wave.com/images/motion-activated-light-switch01.jpg
Use time and motion sensors to control lights
There is some upfront cost, but the long term savings are impressive. Lights automatically turn off during certain times of the day, or when no one is in the room. Automatic controls are a great way to make it easy to help the environment without even realizing it!

"Haha! If your lack of productivity (or physical destruction) from cutting back on coffee outweighs the benefits, then maybe you should INCREASE your coffee consumption to be more green!"
